Description

FACE MATERIAL: Paper 100% recycled from post consumer and post Industrial waste collection with up to 15% of wine label glassine content recovered from end users. Embossed paper with WS treatment. FSC Certified. Due to the nature of the raw material used, there may be the small impurities and/or slight variations in tone and appearance which are normal in a recycled product.

ADHESIVE: A high-performance, water-based permanent adhesive specifically engineered for glass container applications. It offers, water resistance, initial repositionability, and good initial tack, ensuring reliable adhesion to polar surfaces such as glass. Refer to Features Section for the performance rating of the full face and adhesive construction.

LINER: White supercalendered glassine paper one side siliconised. There may be slight variations in tone.

Additional informationWe recommend the reels to be wound with the face side out. Suitability for neck labels should be thoroughly checked and validated. Not suitable for very small radius. If possible, consider using a product from the Fedrigoni's neck label range for this application. In doubt contact Fedrigoni's technical support team for advice. The test of resistance is carried out by sticking a blank (unprinted) label on a standard glass bottle. Five days after the label is stuck on, it is submerged in an ice bucket containing icy water for a minimum period of 4 hours and its resistance to immersion is checked.

Shelf life2 years, under storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5 (20-25ºC, 40-50% RH). Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life of the product.

FSC / PEFC FaceFSC RECYCLED CREDIT

Printing TechnologyIt can be used without problems with the main printing systems: letterpress, offset, hot stamping, thermography and screen printing. Characteristic engravings require specific print pressure settings. Varnishing and plastic lamination should be evaluated in advance. Varnishing applied with an offset machine is almost completely absorbed and therefore does not improve gloss or protection. Screen printing varnishing achieves better results, although it is often necessary to make two passes to obtain a clearly evident result. The surface roughness typical of felt-marked papers can lead to micro-defects with the plastic laminate caused by incomplete adhesion of the film to the substrate. It is always recommended to test the compatibility between materials, printers and inks before use.
