Adhesive : Acrylic permanent adhesive featuring good clarity and water resistance.

Liner : White supercalendered glassine paper one side siliconised. There may be slight variations in tone.

Additional informationWe recommend the reels to be wound with the face side out. Suitability for neck labels should be thoroughly checked and validated. Not suitable for very small radius. If possible, consider using a product from the Fedrigoni's neck label range for this application. In doubt contact Fedrigoni's technical support team for advice. The test of resistance is carried out by sticking a blank (unprinted) label on a standard glass bottle. Two days after the label is stuck on, it is submerged in an ice bucket containing icy water for a minimum period of 4 hours and its resistance to immersion is checked.

Shelf life2 years, under storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5 (20-25°C, 40-50% RH). Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life of the product.

Printing TechnologyCan be used without problems with the main printing systems: letterpress, offset, blind embossing, hot foil stamping, thermography and screen printing. The characteristic felt marking requires specific printing pressure settings. Varnishing and plastic laminating must be assessed in advance. The varnishing coated with an offset machine is almost fully absorbed and therefore does not improve gloss or protection. Screen-printing varnishing achieves better results, although it is often necessary to perform two shots to achieve a distinctly evident result. The surface roughness typical of felt marked papers may give rise to micro defects with plastic laminating caused by incomplete adhesion of the film to the substrate.Testing for suitability between media, printers and inks is always recommended prior to use.
